Serving Veterans – Online Training for Frontline AJC Staff

The Workforce3One includes a Veterans’ Priority Community of Practice (CoP) with on-line training available to American Job Center (AJC) staff. Providing employment services to veterans is a priority for the public workforce system. The National Veterans' Training Institute (NVTI) has developed a tutorial for American Job Center (AJC) frontline staff on how to best serve your veteran job seekers with detailed insight into understanding the challenges of putting veterans to work. The tutorial, Preparing Veterans for Meaningful Careers, provides an overview of:
- The Jobs for Veterans State Grants refocusing from a frontline American Job Center staff perspective
- Clarifications on the roles and responsibilities of local staff
- Technical assistance for serving veterans
