DoD Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Resources

The Department of Defense (DoD)Transition Assistance Program (TAP) provides information, tools and training to ensure military Service Members and their spouses are prepared for the next step in civilian life, including whether pursuing education, finding a job, or starting their own business. The DoD TAP website includes access to:
1) Individual Transition Plan to provide a framework to achieve realistic career goals based on an assessment of your personal and family needs as well as your unique skills, knowledge, experience, interests and abilities.
2) Military Fields & Civilian Equivalents to give Services Members a quick reference tool to see similar civilian career fields to their military specialty.
3) MOC Crosswalk Gap Analysis to translate military skills, training and experience into identification of required civilian credentialing appropriate for civilian jobs. To access the DoD TAP website click on View Page Now or go to: https://www.dodtap.mil/index.html
