LEAD Center Releases Employment First Information Brief: Perspective of Employers on Customized Employment

Posted by Alexandra Kielty - On January 22, 2016 (EST)

Customized Employment is a flexible process designed to personalize the employment relationship between a job candidate and an employer in a way that meets the needs of both. This information brief provides the results of six focus groups conducted in 2015 under the Office of Disability Employment Policy's (ODEP's) Employment First State Leadership Mentoring Program (EFSLMP). The purpose of the focus groups was to garner the perspective of employers of various sizes, sectors, and locations who had hired individuals with disabilities into customized jobs within the past year.
