What Accommodation Policies and Practices does your One-Stop have in place? According to the nondiscrimination provisions in the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) with regard to aid, benefits, services, training, and employment, a recipient of WIA funds must provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities who are applicants, registrants, participants, employees (or applicants for employment), unless providing the accommodation would cause undue hardship. [29 CFR 37.8(a)] The Job Accommodation Network (JAN: http://askjan.org/) is the leading source of free, expert guidance on accommodations and disability employment issues. JAN represents the most comprehensive job accommodation resource available.

• What procedures and guidelines does your One-Stop have in place for handling requests for reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications in policies, practices, or procedures?
